Ajla R. Steinvåg – Class of Outcasts
A monograph of Norwegian artist Ajla
R. Steinvågs work of the past decade, culminating in her solo exhibition at the van Abbemuseum in Eindhoven, NL in 2020-2021. Steinvågs interest in the human body and all it's possibillities, deformations and scientific interventions have shaped her visual and conceptual research over the last 20 years. This publication shows some 30 + projects and critical texts to put them into perspective.
Henny Overbeek – The Books Happen
The Books Happen is a long running project in which Overbeek asks other artists to collaborate on a unique artist book with him. Cut and paste, drawing, painting, writing: all forms and varieties of approaches come to life in this elaborate project that has produced some 70 unique books with over 40 artists. The publication Henny Overbeek - The Books Happen shows a wide variety of spreads from these books, as well as exhibitions made about the project and texts that put everything into perspective.
Paul Segers – A 21st. Century Mirage
A 21st. Century Mirage - Drawings, sketches, collages, scenes, vehicles, constructions, machines, habitats, situations focuses on Segers' drawing process in developing his sculptural works, performances and video's. This extensive view into the mind of the artist is insightful, funny and intriguing. Two texts approach the artist and his work from different perspectives.
Introducing: Wessel Verrijt
Wessel Verrijt builds sculptures, or rather ‘entities’ that crowd his visual rituals. They are colourful, idiosyncratic and powered by humans to balance the thin lines between art, theatre and choreo- graphy in order to create a new mythology of symbols and meaning. The publication shows the works, vision and approach of Wessel Verrijt.
